Today, in the clear night sky, I saw Venus and Jupiter, so far away, yet shining so bright in the vast universe.
What a beauty, what a miracle.
Makes me wonder about the grandeur of this world, this universe, we live in.
Always the curious kind, I have so many questions..
How vast is the universe? How did we get here? What is this grand plan we are part of? And, how do WE make a difference in our purpose? and so goes the list....
A riveting conversation with someone I love and respect....
Here are some thoughts.
As we go through our daily lives, we seem to forget to ask ourselves what our purpose is. What is it that we're doing, and what does this all mean? Don't get me wrong, I love living life. And many days, when I am captivated by something that is very beyond our reach, I ponder meanings, purposes, life. I think about the universe's miracles, and I wish to always remember this when faced with even a single negative thought, a "down" feeling. It seems that when in a bad mood, we are not as fascinated, and we are taking things for granted. It is okay to have up and down moods, for that is what makes us human.. However, it is tres important to enjoy each breath, breathe life into every moment. Love living each day, and enjoy each experience - good bad or ugly. Keep your head high, your spirits higher, and realize that there is a greater purpose to you.
These are just some simple thoughts, and there will definitely be more on this later, for this really fascinates me.
For now I sign off with these thoughts..
G'night.

Wow. What insight! Who did you have this conversation with? I'm very curious :)
I agree. It fascinates me too.... and I completely believe in enjoying each moment and each day.
If you haven't already, you should check out the song If today was your last day by Nickelback. Beautiful lyrics. I'm in love with that song right now...
